“A
Tough, Experienced & Fair Judge”
Judge
John England is the epitome of the American hero. Through hard work,
tenacity and with basic American values to guide him, Judge England
rose from humble beginnings to the highest court in Alabama. He began
private law practice in 1974, earning the respect and admiration of
the legal community throughout the state. The Tuscaloosa community
demonstrated their confidence in him by electing Judge England to
two terms on the City Council where he oversaw some of the most prosperous
expansion as Chairman of the Finance and Community Development Committee.
As the Sixth Judicial Circuit Court Judge and later as Associate Justice
of the Alabama Supreme Court, he earned a reputation as a tough, fair
and thoughtful jurist. |
